Thank you for agreeing to participate in the Minnesota Paint & Powder Coating Expo on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Century College, White Bear Lake, Minnesota.  The following information should answer most of your questions about exhibiting at the Expo. If you have further questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at expo@umn.edu or 612-624-4638. 

SETUP

We ask that your exhibit be ready by 10:45 a.m. on the day of the Expo. Setup will be permitted between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 and between 7:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 15. If your display requires electricity, please bring an extension cord.  Prior to the event, I will contact demonstrators that have large power requirements to schedule hook-up times with the electrician on Wednesday, March 14. 

DISPLAY DROPOFF AND PARKING (see map)

To get to the vendor area use the entrance to the college’s east campus, proceed straight around the building to the parking lots on the northeast side. Park in any lot; Lot D, C, or B are closest.

 You may load/unload at garage bay doors #9 and #10 near the Autobody Technology Room/labeled E1621 where the majority of the exhibits are located. To access this area you should go to the northeast side of the building, use the road beside Parking Lot D. If you need a loading dock go to Shipping and Receiving, use road between lots B and C.

 STAFFING TIMES

The vendor show is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please be sure the booth is staffed from 10:45 a.m. until the Expo ends, unless you are demonstrating equipment or coatings in one of the spray booths. Exhibits may be taken down after the Expo adjourns. They must be removed from the facility by noon on Friday, March 16.

DISPLAY SHIPPING

Your display and materials may be delivered to the college starting March 12.

Century College – East Campus

 If your shipper needs a contact at the facility use Chris Bjork (651-779-3207) at the college.

 If you are shipping materials out after the Expo, you must make arrangements prior to the Expo for pre-paid shipping via your shipper (i.e., UPS, FedEx).

 HAZARDOUS WASTE

All hazardous materials (e.g., coating products) and/or equipment shall be removed from the Expo site and are the responsibility of each participating vendor.

 DON’T FORGET TO INVITE CUSTOMERS TO THE EXPO AND CCAI SYMPOSIUM!

Several weeks ago you were sent Expo brochures to give to your customers. Please invite your customers.
